Retreat Dharma Talks at Gaia House

New Year's Retreat

This annual retreat is a precious opportunity to practice for a sustained period in the depth of winter, traditionally a time for reflection and reorientation for the year ahead. We offer Buddhist Insight Meditation practices that support cultivation of a heart of wisdom and kindness, and reflections and opportunities to meet with teachers. On New Year’s Eve there is reflective time for participants, including a silent communal gathering and ritual to mark the turning of the year. We ask all participants to commit to staying for the whole retreat.
