Retreat Dharma Talks at Gaia House

Mindfulness, Insight, Liberation - MBCT/MBSR Foundations

This retreat is designed to support people teaching or training in mindfulness-based applications. The teaching is based on the Four Foundations of Mindfulness, as set out in the Satipatthana Sutta taught by the Buddha. We explore how to cultivate a path of wisdom and compassion in the midst of the joys and sorrows of our lives. Supported by the silence and simplicity of a retreat, we follows a sustained schedule of formal meditation practice (both Insight and Metta), meetings with the teachers, talks and instructions. Please note that this retreat is not a clinical skills workshop but is an opportunity to nourish our personal practice.
