Retreat Dharma Talks at Gaia House

Settling With What Is

All too often in our daily lives we can feel a sense of lack and incompleteness, causing us to strain towards some imagined future circumstance which we hope will provide relief.

However, the essence of practice is to see and know, as purely as we can, our direct experience in the moment, finding resolution right within what IS, rather than pushing past our current circumstances.

On this retreat we emphasise a settling back into being present with What IS, so that deeper layers of being can become apparent.

The retreat explores the conditions that support being present. We investigate our experience through stillness and movement meditation and the flow of life as it happens to us. The retreat includes guided meditations, gentle movement and Q&A sessions.
