Retreat Dharma Talks at Gaia House

Enjoying the Path

The Buddha taught that wisdom arises through understanding suffering. It is less known that he emphasised joy as a way to that wisdom - a joy we can learn to experience and refine with every step on the path. Some pleasant feelings help soothe and settle the mind, and they can even be the ground where seeds of insight sprout and ripen.
