Dharma teachings exist to liberate all of life. On this retreat we embody these wise freedom teachings through the practice of expanding the heart. We explore the delight of coming to life by unbinding habitual constrictions. Yet, we also incline our being towards the more joyful and fulfilling release expressed so well in the brahmavihārā (illimitable heart quality) of muditā (appreciative or altruistic joy). When we gather in well-being, quieten self-obsession, and cultivate such generosity of spirit, we are growing in freedom.
