Retreat Dharma Talks at Gaia House

Mettā and Insight

Insight reveals and is rooted in the understanding that nothing exists separately, from its own side, thus liberating us from limiting views. This opens up the freedom to live according to our deepest and most noble aspirations. Metta - goodwill, unconditional friendliness- is a path to insight, and an embodiment of it. These two aspects of the path are mutually supportive.

On this retreat we explore our capacity to welcome each moment with a kind and spacious attention, to nourish a sense of wellbeing and joy, and to deepen our understanding of ourselves and all beings.
